This database offers a collection of databases as well as online publications, platforms and networks of various fields that are useful for classical studies (archaeology, literary sources, epigraphy, papyrology, geography, library catalogues etc.).

The database was created by students during the course “Databases in Ancient History” (2016) and serves as an aid for all students of Ancient History.

The goal of the database is to familiarise its users with digital media and its utilisation.

The database runs on a separate page on Moodle and is accessible for all students at the University of Vienna. All users can contribute to the database by improving it with suggestions and new entries.
